PlayToday Club Notifications

What Messages You Will Receive

When you opt in to the PlayToday Club Notifications program, you may receive the following transactional text messages related to your club activity:

  • Game invitations and open game alerts
  • Booking confirmations
  • Game-filled notifications (when your game reaches capacity)
  • Cancellation notices
  • Pre-game reminders (24 hours before your booking)
  • Waitlist updates
  • Welcome messages when you join a club

All messages are transactional and related to your club activity. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

How You Opt In

You may opt in to receive text messages from PlayToday through any of the following methods:

  • Web opt-in: When you join an open game on PlayToday (e.g., at playtoday.ai/play/[game-code]), you provide your phone number along with the following consent disclosure: "By providing your phone number, you consent to receive game-related SMS from PlayToday. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
  • Club registration: When you join a club through a club's join page (e.g., playtoday.ai/club/[club-name]/join), you provide your phone number with SMS consent disclosure displayed at the point of phone number collection.
  • Verbal opt-in at club: Club front desk staff may verbally inform you: "Would you like to receive text message notifications about game invitations and booking confirmations from PlayToday? Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP." Staff record your consent in the system.
  • Keyword opt-in: You can text START to our number to subscribe to notifications.

In all cases, providing your phone number and opting in is voluntary. You are not required to opt in to SMS as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity. Typically 1 to 10 messages per week depending on how often you book courts and participate in games.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from PlayToday. You will receive a confirmation message and will not receive any further text messages from us. You can also manage your notification preferences in your PlayToday profile settings.

Additional opt-out keywords: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT.

Privacy

We collect phone numbers solely to send transactional service messages. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
